General Terms and Conditions

Below, you can read our general terms and conditions. The terms apply to all bookings with us, including bookings through our website, in our app, or if made through a third party. If you have any questions, please contact us at

  1. Ordering The number of persons, price, accommodation, and other products and services to be provided by the hotel are specified in the confirmation that the guest receives after ordering. Children up to 9 years old have the option to sleep in their parents' bed at no extra cost.
  2. Validity of Price Agreement The agreed-upon prices are binding for both parties, but the hotel reserves the right to adjust prices due to changed costs, increased taxes and fees, or other circumstances beyond the hotel's control.
  3. Changes and Cancellations The booking rules for your reservation depend on the type of booking you have made. Always check the rules applicable to your booking, as indicated in your booking confirmation. Here are details on different cancellation rules:

3.1 Guaranteed until 4:00 PM The hotel is obligated to provide a room to the guest until 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. If the guest has not canceled or arrived by this time, the hotel may cancel the room without notifying the guest.

3.2 Guarantee The reservation is guaranteed through a corporate agreement, travel agency, or credit card. The hotel holds the reservation confirmed until 7:00 AM the morning after. Cancellation of a guaranteed reservation must be made by 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. If the guest does not arrive, or if the guest cancels after 4:00 PM, payment for one night's stay is required.

3.3 Contractual Bookings For orders made by customers with an agreement with Hotel Kung Carl, the booking/cancellation rules specified in the contract apply.

3.4 18-Year Age Limit For guests not traveling with parents, there is an 18-year age limit. The hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking if valid identification cannot be provided.

3.5 Booking with Bonus Points Redemption of bonus points requires membership in World Hotels Crafted and sufficient valid bonus points in the member's account to cover the point cost for the entire stay. For cancellations within the regular cancellation period, the redeemed bonus points can be refunded, provided the points have not expired.

  1. Payment Hotel Kung Carl accepts payment from the following credit card companies: Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Diners, and Eurocard. For orders through our website, we accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard. We do not accept cash.
  2. Check-In and Check-Out Times Ordered hotel rooms are guaranteed to be ready for check-in from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
  3. Liability for Damage The guest, or the person guaranteeing the room, is responsible for damages resulting from the guest's negligence or unreasonable behavior. We remind you that all hotels are non-smoking. In case of violation, the hotel will demand compensation for additional room cleaning. This compensation amounts to 3000 SEK and will be charged to the guest responsible for the room in the final bill.
  4. Force Majeure Events beyond the control of the contractual parties – such as strikes, lockouts, fires, etc., making it impossible to fulfill the obligations in this agreement – entitle the right to terminate the agreement without liability for compensation.
  5. Court All disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement (the guest and the hotel) shall be governed by Swedish legislation. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the hotel's jurisdiction shall apply, except for mandatory rules in consumer agreements.
