Welcome to Hotel Kung Carl

I hope you will have a pleasant stay with us. Please contact the front desk if you have any queries or need our assistance; we are here for you 24 hours.

Kurt and Gertrude Östlundh acquired the hotel in 1977 an at the time it had 46 rooms. Today we have a bar & restaurant, conference facilities, mini-gym, and 143 hotel rooms where each one is unique and we work with different styles and furnishings. We strive for a classic style with modern design.

During the years we have purchased a number of antiquities at auction houses in Stockholm. It
may be antique clocks, mirrors and art by famous Swedish artists, etc to decorate our rooms.

Our restaurant is inspired by the home of Annie Berg who, together with her husband, were the owner of the hotel in the beginning of th 20th century. We have tried to create an environment of a kitchen, orangerie, library and the saloon. The menu has also a twist of inspiration from that time.

If you have any queries or remarks on your stay with us, I gratefully accept any information that can help us become a better hotel. My email address is annelie.bergsten@kungcarl.se

Kind regards

Annelie Bergsten
